It's an interesting challenge.

I was so happy when overseas buyers and designers saw our original products, they surprised “What is this!” at International Trade Fair for Textile Materials. We are able to create “interesting fabrics”, because we can do detailed work that cannot be done in large-scale processing factory. The role of sales is to coordinate the creation of textures and surface shape using our unique technology, and I feel this is one of the most exciting parts of my job.

I was a baseball boy from elementary school to high school. In these days, I'm busy fishing and family service on my days off. After graduating from high school, I joined Daicho Co. I worked for many operators, mercerized, and drying machine (net surfer, cylinder) ..., then moved to sales.

Rather than wearing a suit to work, I would like to manufacturing that I think in on my way in the field.

The fabric of natural fiber changes delicately depending on the year. Customers want the “same quality”. Sometimes, finishing method also need to be changed. If it were math, it's like finding the best combination of “4+5” or “3.5+5.5” based on experience so that the answer is “9” instead of “3+6=9”. It's a satisfying sense of achievement when my own imagined processing is applied aptly.

When I joined the company, I can't understand the meaning of word such as machine name and processing name, so what? What is it? I had to write it down by hand and remembering it. Students have a certain amount of time they have to remember, isn't it? Since I joined the company, it feels like it has been going for a long time. But I was impressed by the warm company when my boss paid attention to me and said, “you're doing a great job!”.

“There are people who are watching over me.” It is very important whether the company seems like it. I was worried because a lot of heavy lifting and there were not many jobs offers for women. Daicho's employees are very kind and supports me when doing heavy lifting or unfamiliar. I think it is an environment that can take on the challenge, people who want to manufacturing by hand in their own way rather than designing.
